Summer Family Vacation 2011-Phase 2

We left Memphis and drove to Morrelton, Arkansas to stay at Petit Jean State Park.  It was about a 4 hour drive which wasn't too bad!  We met our friends, the Kuhn family, there and stayed in duplex cabins in the park with them.  We went to WalMart to go grocery shopping and then started our adventure!  We spent each morning hiking and exploring until it got too hot.  Then we would go to the pool to cool off!  The kids loved to pool and couldn't wait to go each day!  You will see tons of pictures of all of our adventures!

Day 1
The first Overlook...very nice but the fence is ugly!

First hike...Bear Cave Trail...not too long but a great one!

We climbed into one of the boulder formations....Colson and his goofy faces!  You will see many!

This was where we stayed!
