HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We had a rainy halloween week and were so nervous about how the weather would be for trick or treating.  It poured buckets all day until about 2:30.  The clouds parted and the sun started shining!  It was so awesome and the kids were amazed and so excited!
We stayed in our neighborhood this year which was so nice!  The kids saw tons of classmates and friends that ride their bus and we got to see tons of our neighbors!  Loved the night!  They each picked two pieces of candy for the night to eat and the rest went in the candy bowl and boy is it heavy with candy!
We said lots of TRICK OR TREATs and THANK YOUs!

Pumpkin Carving

Colson got to choose the nose shape....trapezoid, and Brooklyn chose triangles for the eyes!  We went traditional this year!

Storybook Parade 2013

This year, the kids' school decided to tie in their parade with Red Ribbon Week!  The kids got to dress up as their favorite storybook character.  They are already going to be minions for Halloween, so that is what we stuck with!  Got on Amazon and ordered to minion books!  BINGO!  I could not go, as usual, but Curt was able to stop by for a short time and Mimi and Poppi made an appearance also!  The kids were so thrilled!!!

Renaissance Festival

Every fall we get together with the wonderful Heemer family!  This year we decided to take the kids to the Renaissance Festival out in Plantersville.  We really love spending time with the Heemers!  Great people watching, inappropriately dressed people, tons of money spent, time with family...priceless!

Isa's Football Game

We got to go see Isa play a Varsity Football Game on the varsity team!

Brooklyn's Creativity

Love our creative little girl!  This is what she says she imagines during math teaching.  She says that she imagines a world made of numbers!

Kiki's Baby Shower

We are SO excited that Kiki and John will be having a baby to add to our crazy clan!  The kids are thrilled to have another cousin.  He will be a bit younger than our kids but it will be nice to have a sister with a baby around!  We are not sure of the little man's name yet but are sure that his room will be in Sock Monkeys so we just call him SOCK right now!
Kelly, Nikki, Samantha and I threw her a baby shower at our house and she was blessed to receive so many great gifts and have so many close friends able to attend!
