VBS Week
The kids have had an awesome week at Vacation Bible School this year! Colson was able to go for the first year ever! We go to another church in The Woodlands for VBS because our church does not have it. The theme this year was SONSurf! The kids learned all about, Who is God? Last night we were sitting at dinner and I asked Brooklyn and Colson to tell Daddy the story they learned. Colson started mumbling about how this man ran away because he didn't like the pigs and the mud...Brooklyn broke in and said...that is the Prodigal son! Wow! I was amazed! We had talked about it when they got out of VBS but Curt had not heard anything and was floored how much they remembered! Each day they had a theme! First day was nothing, but the rest of the days were crazy hat day, clashing clothes day, lobster red day, and Hawaiian day! Well, the only day that I didn't get a pic was clashing clothes and I must say that was the best! OH WELL!!! The rain threw us off that day (since we haven't had any in months, we didn't know what to do!)
Great week!

Father's Day 2011
We had a great Father's Day spent with family on Saturday and Sunday! Curt and I are blessed to have wonderful examples of fathers who love their wives and families but most of all are strong in their faith. Ronnie and Donnie (yes, they rhyme...his dad and my dad!) are wonderful men of great character, work ethic, and strength! Curt, I am so blessed that God brought you into my life! Our children are SO BLESSED to have a father that is beyond amazing!
| Mimi and Poppi! Wonder where Colson gets his silly faces?! |
| We got Daddy rock speakers for the back patio!! |

Summer Family Vacation 2011-Phase 2
We left Memphis and drove to Morrelton, Arkansas to stay at Petit Jean State Park. It was about a 4 hour drive which wasn't too bad! We met our friends, the Kuhn family, there and stayed in duplex cabins in the park with them. We went to WalMart to go grocery shopping and then started our adventure! We spent each morning hiking and exploring until it got too hot. Then we would go to the pool to cool off! The kids loved to pool and couldn't wait to go each day! You will see tons of pictures of all of our adventures!
