All About the Alfords: November 2016

October 2016

We truly have been in full school mode every week. Brooklyn has been working on a HUGE project all about John Hancock that she will finish in November and present in costume on her Colonial Day that they call the Fifthsonian. We played soccer, swam, went to choir club, coding club, garden club all month and at the end they got to play with a fun Festival at their school and Halloween!

September 2016

September must have been a crazy busy month, because I really have very few pictures from September. Colson was in full swing with Fall Soccer and we joined a new team called the YellowJackets. We used to play them when we were with the Cheetahs and really thought their coach was over the top. He truly is a great coach who teaches the kids so well and we have seen huge growth in Colson.

August 2016

Mom and I are off to surprise Kristin in St. Louis! We have been keeping the secret for so long and are ready to shock her when we arrive at her house!

John spoiled our surprise and told her before we got there. She and John were hiding in the back of the Tahoe when we arrived to surprise us instead of the other way around. She was so happy to see us!

He got to go to his first water park with Mimi and Alli. We had a great time at the park and then playing a little in the water. He was very unsure about the water because he just had not had any exposure to swimming pools or water parks. He stayed pretty attached to me the whole time in the water.

Off to Sky Zone as one of our last adventures before school starts again!

Mimi and Poppi always take the kids on a Texas trip the week that Curt and I go back to school. This year they stayed in a resort and camp ground in New Braunsfels. They always have a great time!
