Downtown Aquarium

On July 5th, Brooklyn and Colson went with Memaw, Aunt Cynthia, and Isa to the downtown Aquarium.  They rode down there in Memaw's van and had a great time seeing the white tigers, all of the fish, all of the sharks, and riding the train.  Brooklyn came back telling us all about her train ride when the shark popped out of the water and scared her!  She thought it was so funny....after the fact!  Then they went and had dinner on Main St at The Spanish Flower and had a great day with family!  Since I didn't go, I waited to post this until I got pictures from everyone!  It looks like they had a great time!!!!

Cracker Barrel Surprise!

Today we headed to Baytown to surprise Poppi at work!  For those of you who don't know, my dad has driven from Spring to Baytown to work for 17 years.  He manages a Cracker Barrel there.  I have only been out there 2 times in those many years and the kids have never seen Poppi at work!  It was a total surprise to my dad and I was so excited to make his day!!!

He was thinking there was an upset customer he was coming to deal with!!!!!

Total surprise!!  The shop ladies were so excited to see his surprise!

Our Birthday Party!

Brooklyn and Colson had the chance to celebrate their birthdays at Pump It Up with tons of friends and family!  It was a day filled with fun, jumping, singing, presents, and yummy food!  We were so excited that friends from church, playgroup, mommy's school and Brooklyn's school came to join us in celebrating.  It was a Dora and Diego party for the girls and boys!  We had a bit of a miscommunication about the cakes so we had 4 different cakes!  Rick ran and got cakes for the kids the day of the party and Mrs. Julie made their beautiful Dora and Diego cakes and brought them to the kids special the next day!  Our babies are so blessed to have such wonderful and caring people in their lives!  Thank you to all!!!!!

Ready for the party!  Brooklyn had this dress picked out for a month!

Having so much fun!

Brooklyn-4 years old

We cannot believe that Brooklyn is 4 years old!  It sounds so unbelievable to say that we have a 4 year old...it sounds so old!  It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home wondering and worrying about doing the right thing with this little blessing!  Brooklyn turns four on July 10th...two days after Colson's birthday!  Poor kids will never get to have separate special days!  Brooklyn, you are such a blessing and full of energy, intelligence, and heart!  Brooklyn loves to draw, color, write, do crafts, ride her NEW bike, play in the water or at the pool, be read to, read her Bob books, play with Colson, mother Colson, help Mommy empty the dishwasher, play with Barbies and princesses, dress up, go to church and see Mrs. Anita, Ms. Carolyn, Mrs. Tracey, and Ms. Billie, say her prayers every night, give "ear muggles," play with Ricky, and get tickles or hops from mommy and daddy every night!  WE LOVE YOU BROOKLYN!!!

YOU WILL ALWAYS BE OUR PRIDE AND JOY BROOKLYN!
