Halloween 2012

Halloween was in the middle of the week this year which is never fun for early school night bedtimes but we did stay up a little late and let the kids enjoy their time!  We rushed home from Colson's costume parade, ate, and got Brooklyn dressed and her hair done in the perfect bridal braid!  We went to the Kuhn home to celebrate as we always do with them.  We went trick or treating in their neighborhood where the kids just had a blast!  We then went to see Poppi, Mimi, and Granny at the Trunk or Treat at our church because they decorated their trunk with festive goodies and candy for trick or treaters.  The kids loved the cake walk and we even got Granny out there for the cake walk!  We loved that Granny got to see the kids for the very first time ever on Halloween!  It is special that she is getting to celebrate all of the fun events with us because she has never been able to living in Memphis!  We came back to our neighborhood and went a few doors down to some very special neighbors to trick or treat...they had made some very cute water bottles for the kids with their names on them...so sweet!
Happy Halloween!
