Christmas Sunday

Our beautiful kids on Christmas Sunday ready for church.  Love our 5 and 7 year old and LOVE the fact that they know exactly why we celebrate Christmas.

Christmas Baking

I had a large task at hand and needed all who could help!  In one day we made, orange dreamsicle cookies, no bake cookies, Christmas pretzels, stinky pretzels, homemade granola, and candied pecans!  All to bring to Mimi and Poppi's for when our family comes into town!  I had my little helpers and was so thankful for them!

Colson and Brooklyn's School Christmas Parties

I was so thrilled that when I asked my principal if I could get off early the last day of school to attend the Christmas Parties for the kids, she insisted that I go.  I am so blessed to work for a great principal and team that understands that we choose to keep our kids at their home school and not take them with us to our schools.  They are always so supportive because they know that we miss so much not being in the same school.  Colson's class was so well behaved.  They came in and decorated their ornaments, played a sight word balloon pop, ate their cookies and juice, and just enjoyed.  Brooklyn's class was a little more active as far as the boys go.  They ate their cookies, played pin the nose on the Snowman, made baskets with the snowballs, and wrapped snowmen with toilet paper (Brooklyn got to be a snowman)!
Great day in Kinder and Second Grade!

Lights in the Heights 2013

We were invited for a stroll through Lights in the Heights with the Heemers and several friends of theirs!  It was fun, cold, and crowded all at the same time!  We started off with appetizers at their house and enjoyed hanging out with them and visiting with their friends.  The kids decorated their wagon and we all hopped in our cars to head to The Heights.  It was a bit disappointing this year because of the lack of lights and entertainment.  I think next year we will try something different!  So thankful for friends like the Heemers!

Decorating time!

It was so cold!

Date Night

Curt and I had a great time at our Snyder Christmas party!  We had it at Kristi Cobb's beautiful home and ended up enjoying being out until 2:30!  So happy to be in a great school!

Annie Jr. Production by CYT

Brooklyn and I got to go see her friend Karianne in the production of the musical Annie Jr.  It was so good!  It took me back to my young years watching Annie over and over with my sister.  I could sing all of the songs and Brooklyn was totally shocked.  Karianne was a street child and was in a few dances.  It was great to go and do a "girl" thing with Brooklyn and we both enjoyed it immensely!

Baby John Pictures

Laurie let me borrow a lens for my camera and Kristin brought the baby over to get some pictures for their Christmas card.  He was a little fussy at first and once he got to sleep he was easy!  So fun!  The kids got to dress in their minion clothes and take pictures with John as a minion too!
