June 2017

Our school year ended with Brooklyn leaving Lemm Elementary and Colson ready to move on to 4th grade.  Lemm has been the perfect school for Brooklyn and we know that she is well equiped to move into intermediate school.  She has chosen to be in the band and play the bassoon.  She loves that it is unique and different and didn't want to play what everyone else plays.  Colson had the best year he has had since kindergarten this year with Mrs. Davis and Ms. Antle.  We are so very thankful for all of the hard work they have done for their students this year! Onward we go!

 5th Grade Pool party

All of these kids have been at Lemm since kindergarten!

This girl and her art!  She drew this the last day at Lemm!
Summer birthdays celebrated for me, Cynthia and Levi!

Summers are for playdates!

 ALFORD DAY OUT!

June ended our summer league swim season!  Brooklyn killed it this year after setting goals for herself: to get high point for her age group and to make Ponderosa.  She did both!  She made Ponderosa for backstroke and scored a huge 107 points for the team during the season!  Colson ended the year on a FAST relay team and reallyl starting to excel and put the coordination together in all strokes.  He qualified for all strokes at the Trinity Invitational and we were so proud of him!

June MathFit Camp was another huge success!  We are so thankful to have Richelle and Robert to do our camps with!

Baking time with Brooklyn and Colson....Pineapple Upside Down Cake Minis for Colson and a Chocolate Caramel Cake Roll and Lemon Cake Roll for Brooklyn!

Brooklyn went to her very first overnight camp with her best friend, Karianne's, church.  It ran from Wednesday to Saturday and boy was she excited!

While she was away, we did play!!!  Movies, Sub Zero Ice Cream, dinners out, hair cuts and more!
