March 2015

Brooklyn has decided to not have a birthday party this year in July.  Instead, she has decided to redo her room!  We bought a loft bed from a friend at Spring Swim Team, painted it, set it up, ordered new goodies for her room and it is awesome!  She loves the way it looks now and I am so excited for her to be rid of the nursery items in her room and have a big girl room.  In her tiny 10x10 room, the loft bed opens it up so much and looks to create so much more room!

Out with the old

In with the new!

Our nanny came to watch Colson play soccer.  The kids love Cheyenne and we were so glad she came out to watch them....even if they lost!
It was a very weird March this year.  The kids had a different Spring Break than both Curt and I did.  It was the first time this has ever happened to us.  They had the first Spring Break while we worked.  We found people for them to go hang out with every day.  We are so blessed to have family close and family that is willing to help us out when we are in a bind with the kiddos.  The kids never skipped a beat.  Spoiling from Mimi and Poppi and Aunt Crystal and Uncle Philip was what they were all about!

During our Spring Break, we were busy with waking up the kids to catch the bus, kid activities during the day at their school (we got to volunteer), and homework and activities in the afternoon.  Not much of a break but that is how the cookie crumbles sometime so we are good!

Torchy's Tacos and off to watch the new Cinderella....it was SO GOOD!!!

Walk a thon at Lemm with Giselle and Giselle...Brooklyn's great friends in her class and girl scouts!

Our Easter was a bit different this year.  The weekend before Easter, Brooklyn got to go to the Easter Egg Hunt with Mrs. Martha and Mr. Kenneth.  These two have done an egg hunt every year for years.  The kids love going but this year we were unable to go with Colson because he had a soccer game.  Brooklyn loved her time and even happened to run into one of my teammates and her kids!
