Colson Enters the Soccer World

Two things that I said I would never do: 1) Drive a mini van and 2) Be a soccer mom....and...I DO BOTH!!!!  Colson had mentioned early in the summer that he wanted to try to play soccer.  We have always noticed that Colson was not a strong thrower or catcher of a ball but was kicking very well at a very young age.  We decided to put him in this fall.  We are very blessed to live near an amazing soccer league called Klein Soccer Club.  It is a HUGE league that is organized and runs like a well-oiled machine!  Colson was so excited to find out he is a Cheetah this year!  He went to the first practice and found out that 2 boys on his team are his buddies in his class at school also.  He was so excited to play with Trevor and Ethan!  The team has 9 kids on it that have all played together in the past.  We are the only new addition.  There are two girls on the team because they play co-ed until the age of 7.  The team has a few power house players on it.  Colson is learning very well and is impressive considering it is his first time to play.  He even scored a goal during the third game of the season!  ONE PROUD MOMMA!

He lost his first tooth after his first game!
