As the end of the school year quickly approaches, we are in full swing with sports, banquets, and end of the year activities!  May is a VERY busy time in our home!

OUR GARDEN IS GROWING FAST!

 Colson was a part of the Leadership Academy at Lemm this year.  He worked very closely with his counselor and his fellow leaders to complete activities and do different services in the school.  Unfortunately, Colson's counselor passed away very suddenly this March.  Colson had a very hard time with this loss because of how close he had become to her.  I think that the loss of Granny in January and this loss just compounded in his heart and emotions.  Mrs. T-P was loved by all of the Lemm Lions and will be deeply missed.  Colson and Brooklyn didn't begin a day without a smile and greeting from her.  

 STAAR is over and now it is time for POP Party and crazy hair day all in one!  This has been a VERY challenging year for my team, so we are so glad to see it drawing to an close!

 HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

 Grandma is now staying in an assisted living home in Madison, so mom and dad went and got her and brought her here for a visit!  Her health is improving but her anxiety, confusion, and worry is at an all time high.  Love my grandma!!!

I had these sweet former students come visit me after a swim meet!  I loved seeing and talking to Miranda and Faustine!

I was able to go help decorate, volunteer, and attend Brooklyn's super hero themed 5th grade appreciation day!  Crystal and Cynthia helped me with the table decorations because that is what I volunteered for!  It was beautifully decorated and such a special day for the kids!  There is a big group of them that were at Lemm all the way through elementary school and I feel that is pretty special!

 The kids came in and got backpacks that had their very first memory book in it!  They were so excited to look in it and have their friends sign it!
