School's out for summer!!! Yay! We began the month celebrating all of the Lewis clan birthdays which was fun! Getting everyone in town for Father's Day was a challenge in the Lewis family but no problem in the Alford family. I am so thankful for Curt. He is an AMAZING father, spectacular husband, and a true example of patience and kindness.
We finished up our Cuda season with a great night at the pool. They call it our Spirit Night and it is a blast for the kids with blow up water slides, free spaghetti and sno cones, a cake walk, and a shaving cream fight. You know how I mentioned how awesome Curt is.....he was in the shaving cream fight too! So fun!

| There's Brooklyn and Colson! |
The kids competed in the very last swim meet of the season! It was divisionals where all of the swim teams that we have competed against this summer all compete. We were very disappointed that Colson was not put in the relay for some reason. He has been in the relay at every meet, so we were sad to not be in it on his last swim meet for the season. Colson swam and got 10th place out of 78 swimmers on his free style and was slower on his backstroke. Brooklyn was in the top third in free style but not in back stroke. She did not get to swim her fly.
Brooklyn and I left early because we had a date with the Luley girls and the Pierrel girls at the Theater Under the Stars to see The Little Mermaid! It was awesome!

We celebrated the kids' birthdays early because we will be out of town most of July weekends and will not be able to have a party in their birthday month. They agreed to have it at Basel's Gym which was so organized, fun, and a wonderful facility! They wanted a swim team cake, so momma got to working! I was so happy with how it turned out! We did not open presents at the gym but came home so I could watch both of them. It is very difficult having 2 open at the same time at the party, so this works well for us! We are so blessed with school friends, soccer friends, life-long friends, girl scout friends, and swim friends!
Brooklyn and Colson got to open presents from friends, Mimi and Poppi, and then go to Crystal's to open from Memaw and Pop and the gang!
