I know I am very late on this posting...but I have been out of town, had sick kids, and so much craziness at school....HALLOWEEN night was a night of fun for one of our kiddos! Colson got a fever after church on the day to trick or treat! He was so sad he didn't get to go to the Kuhn's house with us and trick or treat with them but he went to a few homes right around here. We had to get him well and make sure nothing went to his chest! Kiki came over to see the kids before they trick or treated and Brooklyn had a blast and ate candy the entire time she trick or treated.

Family Pictures!
Thank you Emily with Emily Crump Photography for our awesome family pictures!
I met up with Emily today and got our CD from our photo session and our mounted 16x20 family picture and am so thrilled with them both! She even throws in a little magnetic album for mom and dad that is just the cutest thing ever!

Spring Trails Fall Festival
We were very sad that our church was not able to have a fall festival this year, but glad we were invited to another fun night with friends! The Kuhn's live in a very nice neighborhood with many young families and they held a fall festival for the kids. It was complete with a breezy hayride, nighttime movie, pizza for all, lots of candy, and good friends. We even ran into some people that I grew up with that live in the neighborhood also! Thank you Kuhns for inviting us to a very fun evening!

The Kuhns were Alvin, Simon, and Theodore! Too cute!!!
Hayride time!

Alvin, Minnie, and Theodore
Claire was there too! She was a beautiful bride!

Carving Pumpkins
We enjoyed carving pumpkins this year! It was fun because Brooklyn is very into creative and crafty things and she took it upon herself to tell Daddy exactly where to cut and what shapes to cut out to create our family pumpkin! She was so proud that it came out great and it was "exactly what I wanted in a pumpkin!" Colson enjoyed putting his feet in the seeds and getting his feet dirty! I cannot say the seeds turned out good after cooking....WE BURNED THEM! But live and learn! No biggie!

Storybook Parade
Yesterday at school, both of the kids had a fun storybook parade. All of the students, including the babies, got all dressed up and paraded on the first floor of the high school where their Early Learning Academy is held. It was fun to see the kids excited and all of the parents who got to come and watch the fun. The big kids went to a story time in the library and the smaller kids went to class and read books with their parents.
It was a great start to a fun weekend and we are so thankful for ELA!
Cat in the Hat and Minnie Mouse!
Mommy was dressed up for her school too! She was Peter Pan!
